Winter Recreational Activities in Mt. Shasta Ski Park
Snow Tubing
Snow tubing uses an inflated inner tube to slide downhill.
There are no skills or training required. You only need to wear proper winter clothes. The ski park allows children at least five years old who can carry their tube to play. The slope is short, with trails lined with snow borders, so it’s easy and fun. You will need a tubing ticket to access the tubing area. The ticket costs $15 for kids ages 5-12 and $25 for adults. The ticket entitles you to two hours of snow tubing with the tube included. Only one person is allowed per tube. The tubing area is open from 10 am to 4 pm on weekends and holidays as weather permits.
Recreational Skiing
Skiing at the park requires a lift ticket and passes. For ski passes, you may choose from a 5-day, seasonal, college, and indy pass. The park allows children at least eight years old to use the lift and dogs seven years and under.
The 5-day pass is good for one individual. It is good to use for five days or any date as the weather permits. On the other hand, the seasonal pass entitles you to 60 days of skiing with a few perks. For students, the college pass has a cheaper rate. The park also offers family passes. A family pass covers two adults and any number of children for the life of the pass.
